A well-known producer in the industry, the father of the Alloy Equipment, Kosumi Soo-soo, announced today that a new and enhanced reality (AR) project would be developed in cooperation with Niantic Spatial. The news was officially released early this morning at a live “Beyond the Strand” in the Island Studio.
Niantic Spatial is the brand-new name of Niantic, a development company called Bogogo. The company has recently made strategic adjustments to focus on the full range of AR applications and has sold most of the game assets under its flag (including BocodibleGO, Monster Hunter Now and Pickmin Bloom) to the developer of Monopoly Go. As a result of this collaboration, Niantic Spatial will be able to develop the project with the small island studios in depth in the context of its landmark reality world AR play. The poster suggests: “In the near future, experience will break the screen boundaries. “The film presents a typical ” Dream Go ” scenario: men wearing AR glasses use their mobile phones to scan digital models that emerge from real objects.
